Greetings Missy,
I just saw an episode of Rookie Blue where your character Andy tries to dissuade a misunderstood kid from shooting his prick of a step-dad. Using her powers of persuasion, Andy convinces the boy to put down his gun by divulging a personal detail from her own life. It turns out that Andy's been estranged from her mother for 14 years. As the episode progresses it is clear that Andy is still working through abandonment and intimacy issues as a result.
I love a good cop drama and although Rookie Blue is no NYPD Blue I'm starting to get into it for different reasons. I think the writers are doing a good job in that every character has a back story - you can see glimmers of reflection in each episode. In particular I'm very interested in Andy's back story and how it's unfolding - slow and steady. I can't wait to see what else is in store for Andy.
Missy, I think you're doing an awesome job and I hope Rookie Blue is picked up for another season.

I'm so glad to see you in Rookie Blue!!! I was OBSESSED with the show Life As We Know It and Jackie was my favorite character!!! I was so sad when it ended and bought the dvds the first day it came out. Life As We Know It was seriously my favorite show. Do you still keep in touch with the rest of the cast?
I watch Rookie Blue every week and hope that it has a long run! I really hope to see you more in movies too! -

You are my favorite actress of all time. I saw the movie stick it when it first came out, and I thought you were so good. I watched all the movies you have been in, I started watching rookie blue, and I find myself waiting every week for a new episode. Being canadian myself, and a sports fan I found the person I could look up to. -

Best New show on TV, by far! Love it! It reminds me of the debut of Friends years ago and Grey's Anatomy. I hope RB has just as long a run. Too late if all 13 episodes have been shot, but for season two the writers need to find a way to let Missy laugh on the show. She has such an infectious laugh! Love it! -

Félicitation pour le série "Rookie Blue" ! Travaillant dans le milieu judiciaire, souvent avec des recrues, on constate que l'expérience s'acquiert avec les erreurs.
